  • This is my second ceremony sitting with Oregon Yage Assembly, my third time sitting with the medicine overall. My last experience was also overwhelmingly beautiful but this ceremony really reflected the level of commitment this church has to bring healing, love and light to the world.

The facilitator Philip is extremely educated and his knowledge of the medicine and the history of the medicine provided a sense of respect that set the tone for each ceremony. I am fairly new to plant medicine, so each experience is very impactful for me. I say that to reflect the value of having someone who honors, and shows respect to the medicine by example.

Personally speaking I was shown through my journey some really difficult things. I was in a very vulnerable place and the facilitator Philip did a phenomenal job of holding space and allowing me to have my experience with the support needed to continue through my journey. I felt incredibly seen, heard, and supported despite going through a really difficult time. I felt so incredibly safe to dive deep into my experience. Entering this space as a new comer, I feel extremely blessed to have been introduced to Philip and this church.

The music is also extraordinary! Philip has a musical background, and is a very talented drummer, and guitarist. That combined with his knowledge and relationship with the medicine the Icaros are performed live, and that really allows the space to dive into the experience.

I am excited to see this community grow, and I am so thankful for the work Philip is doing! I will never forget this experience and I look forward to sitting again with this church 🙏

  • I have sat with the Oregon AYA church a total of 6 times. I have been impressed with the facilitator of this church from the very beginning. While it was not my first experience with Ayahuasca, it was very pleasant over both nights of each weekend I attended as it was a small group with 2 facilitators. The medicine was different and stronger from my previous experiences.

My 11th sitting in June (first profound experience with the devine) was with this church and while I was having a touch time, the lead facilitator came over to me and supported my experience in the proper tradition. My whole body and all my cells were vibrating as I began humming (for over 2 hours). Phillip (the leader) on 2 different occasions attempted to help me clear and purge (once with Agua de Florida and another time blessing me with tabacco) but Mother AYA said she wasn’t finished with me yet.

The evening was filled with many icaros by the leader and some singing from the 2nd facilitar. The leader played several guitar instrumentals, drums, and even some music on the hand pan.

At one point during the evening I had to go into another room because I was humming, shaking and disturbing others in the room that were on their journeys. Philp (the leader came in and checked on me on at least 2 occasions. later the other faciitator sat outside on chairs under the stars for awile and helped me process what was going on in my journey.

Finally I started to feel myself coming out of the medicine at the kitchen table (after being under the medicine for over 3 hours) as I began to enjoy a bowl of warm and nourishing soup in front of me which he cooked for the particpants (after 3am and the closing ceremony). One spoonful at a time. Being so mindful of each bite, the smells and the texture in my mouth. Reflecting my head towards the bowl in reverence for all the steps it took to provide this food for my nourishment.

In the end I didn’t have a physical purge during that ceremony (this was the first time for me to experience this) but I purged every other way possible.

My 14th and 15th sittings (August) are to date my most profound experiences and these occured with the complete support of this church, the leader Philp and 1 additional factator. A repeat of the great music across the evening and occasional checkins with me when I was having a tough journey.

I have always felt safe and supported with this church and have already registered for cermomies in November with this church.

I enjoy his icaros, his instrumentals, hand pan music and his respect for the medicine and the cermomies. I attended his first public ceremomy weekend in March and have gone back for repeat performances in June and August.

I am NeuroDivergent dealing with both ADHD and ASD symptoms.

I am a childhood trauma survivor and doing this medicine as a support of EMDR with a trauma / Psycadelic informed Therapist. I only started this journey last December and have been making significant progress on reprocessing my memories and removing trauma from my body with the guidance of Mother Ayahuasca, Amida Buddha and this church.

  • My dream is to live symbiotically and harmoniously with the world and to give the best energy I can to make the world a better place for all beings. Although I’m relatively new to the medicine, I can say without a doubt that Philip and his church have helped me make significant steps in that direction.
This church is still small, which means smaller attendance at ceremonies, and that’s preferable to me. The group I was with felt very communal. There was no sense of elitism among the facilitators and everything felt very safe and relaxed. During my last night of ceremony I got so deep in the medicine that I had trouble controlling myself and discerning reality. Philip was patient and attentive with me. He allowed me to go through my process without judgement and he knew when it was time to ground me with hape. The mutual love felt after ceremony was immense. It made me realize that a loving community could actually exist, and that gave me a stronger sense of direction in life. And all that’s not even to mention Philip’s very impressive musical abilities. I have nothing but love and respect for this organization. If you feel a calling to the medicine and you have the means, I think you should consider this church.

  • Working with Philip has been quite the journey. I’ve been to many ceremonies now with the OYA and have experienced so many highs and lows working with this sacred medicine. Philip comes to the medicine with absolutely respect and reverence. That makes you feel safe going in. And the communal aspect throughout the weekends are pretty amazing. The ceremonies right now are small and intimate. Leading to such profound and beautiful experiences.
Theres a level of respect to the Icaros that is very admirable.
Like I said, I’ve sat through many ceremonies with the OYA and had some very beautiful and very difficult journeys. Working with mama Aya and this group has brought so many revelations. working with childhood trauma, confidence, self exploration, trust, forgiveness, self love, spirit, etc. I’m grateful to be a part and witness this community grow.

  • Never sat under his facilitation, but I am here to say, you shouldn’t. I have sat with this dude a few times with the daime, and it never felt right. A lot of darkness. The land of the hungry ghosts. Could not quite put a finger on it….I always felt like he is only in it for the $$$. Word travels fast in our community, and it seems the feeling was spot on. A lot of talk about some wacky shit going on. Not going to go into much more than that, since it isn’t first hand knowledge, but it comes from reputable sources. We all have to contend with our shadow. I think its best to steer clear of this one, daime is a better, safer route in our area.

Of all the stellar reviews we’ve received so far, this is the first we’ve had from a person who’s never attended ceremony with us. We invite you to join us anytime.

Reverence to this sacred Medicine is fundamental in our church, and our facilitators are committed to giving everything they have to ensure a safe and supportive environment for people of all walks to receive divine communion and healing.

Regarding money, as we are a religious non-profit, all donations go toward our continued mission of safely and supportively bringing this sacred Medicine to those who feel called.

…i also find it interesting that you’d bring up, and particularly recommend Daime here since they seriously discourage proselytizing. Do feel free to say hi at a Work though.

  • This 2 day event was my first experience with Ayahuasca. It was a beautiful introduction into what I hope will be an ongoing, life long relationship with this plant medicine. Philip and Pablo were gracious, experienced, talented, and compassionate guides, and they are both amazing musicians. They upheld and honored the Indigenous culture in which Philip has studied under and been mentored in. The ceremonies were full of love, and the inner journey was powerful, unexpected, and healing. I came into this weekend very anxious about some of the physical discomfort that Ayahuasca can cause some people, and was made to feel much better. All in all, it was gently powerful, and I hope to sit with them again soon.

  • I recently had the privilege of attending an ayahuasca ceremony at Oregon Yagé Assembly, and I must say, it was a truly remarkable and life-changing experience. I wanted to take a moment to share my heartfelt recommendation for Phillip, the incredible facilitator who guided us through this transformative journey with utmost grace and compassion.

As a first-timer, I was admittedly nervous about the ayahuasca process, but from the very beginning, Phillip created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. He radiated kindness and understanding, making sure every participant felt comfortable and safe throughout the ceremony.

The ceremony space itself was a haven of tranquility, exuding a gentle energy that encouraged deep introspection and healing. Surrounded by like-minded individuals, I found myself forming strong connections and friendships that I know will last a lifetime. The sense of community fostered during the ceremony was truly remarkable, and I felt supported throughout my entire journey.

The icaros played during the ceremony were truly enchanting, and I find myself regularly listening to them, ensuring that the valuable lessons I learned during my ayahuasca journey are never forgotten. Phillip’s guidance during the ceremony was exceptional; he skillfully navigated us through our individual experiences, providing a secure and nurturing space for self-discovery.

Since that life-altering night, I have noticed a profound positive impact on my mental health. My struggles with ADHD and PTSD have become much more tolerable, thanks to the insights and healing I gained from the medicine. I am filled with gratitude for the transformative power of this ancient practice and for Phillip’s instrumental role in facilitating the healing process.

I cannot recommend Oregon Yagé Assembly enough for those seeking a profound and life-changing ayahuasca experience. If you are considering embarking on this journey, you can trust that Phillip’s and his teams guidance will be nothing short of extraordinary. I will forever cherish the memories and lessons from that night, and I am deeply grateful for the positive changes it has brought to my life.

Thank you, Phillip, for being such a wonderful and compassionate facilitator. Your grace and expertise have left an indelible mark on my heart and soul.

  • If you are looking for an amazing Ayahuasca facilitator, look no further…Philip is your guy. I had my first Ayahuasca retreat this weekend under Philip and Michelle’s guidance. What an amazing experience. Thank you both so very much for the love and support. I have no words to express my gratitude to both of you. Since it was my first time taking the medicine, I did not know what to expect. I felt safe, loved, and cared for during the ceremonies. I still can hear the icaros in my head. You both sing so beautifully – it made the ceremonies so unforgettable. The journey to heal just began. I look forward to many more ceremonies under Philip’s guidance. If Mother Ayahuasca is calling your name, do yourself a favor and honor her request. Trust the Oregon Yage Assembly to guide you through this journey because you will not be disappointed. Sending love and healing to every soul!

  • I cannot say enough good about the experience I had with the OYA with Phillip and Annie as facilitators. I was incredibly nervous to participate as I have heard quite a lot about the power of the medicine, but from the moment I arrived at the location, both the facilitators and the participating community members provided a safe and welcoming environment. It is clear that both the facilitators and the community take this medicine work seriously and have a level of reverence and preparation that brings the correct spirit to the experience. Phillip and Annie both show their experience and training as the two most proficient musicians I have ever had the pleasure of seeing perform as well as being deeply sensitive facilitators and caretakers. Their blend of traditional icaros and modern musical synthesis quite literally keeps the boat afloat as the ceremony progresses along. The power of these two facilitators working in tandem is deeply felt by the way they both play together as well as take turns leading songs while the other tends to a participant who needs attention. There is enough space and care to both move through difficult emotions as well as follow along with the facilitators’ musical intent in the interest of experiencing an internal journey. I expected to have a difficult or scary experience but the sheer force of spiritual power of the facilitators helped me to have a joyful experience and to remember that “gratitude is the fabric softener of the universe”. This truly feels like a community the way that the facilitators and the participants share house tasks and conversation throughout the weekend. I am excited to participate more with the OYA and to follow its growth as more individuals become connected to the community. Thank you so much Phillip for answering my questions before I registered for the ceremony weekend and helping me to feel ready to take a significant step forward in my own healing. Thank you to Annie for your proficient facilitation, your masterful musicianship, and your sensitive heart. Thank you to my fellow participants for providing a friendly space in which to reach a deeper level of relationship with myself. Each night I was able to reclaim a different broken, forgotten or fractured aspect of self and invite them back into the light of my spirit. Since sitting in ceremony two weeks ago I have been in integration from all that I learned and experienced and I can say that the glow hasn’t faded, I still feel a profound and clear connection to my unknown and unseen self and I look forward to my further time sitting with the OYA! I highly recommend signing up for all three nights in order to surrender more deeply to the experience and benefit from the transformative power of this medicine and the hearts of the facilitators.

  • I attended my first ever sacred plant ceremonies with OYA earlier this year. As a physician and as somebody new to the medicine I was impressed and reassured by Philip’s pre-ceremony process. He took time to schedule calls with me to make sure he was aware of the necessary information about my history and to make sure I was aware of how to prepare in the weeks leading up to ceremony.
Over the course of the three night ceremony, I experienced deep healing as well as the formation of beautiful new relationships/sense of community. The ceremonies were conducted with tremendous care and reverence with just the right mixture of humor and lightness. A huge bonus for me was that Philip and Annie (his cofacilitator for ceremonies I attended) are immensely talented musicians in addition to being tuned in and skilled at holding the space for us all.
I am just about to sign up for another 3-day ceremony with OYA and know these won’t be my last. 💚

  • As of this writing, I have participated in 6 total sacred ayahuasca ceremonies with the OYA and cannot say enough good things about how things were run. In fact “run” just doesn’t convey the raw spiritual power ushered into ceremony by the facilitators…the utter magic and healing that this medicine has spilled into my everyday life is the direct result of the authentic spiritual communion as well as loving human connection experienced in these ceremonies. I plan on attending at least 3 more this year in order to continue to heal and grow as a human being, and I am overjoyed to have found this mind-body-spirit medicine community. I’ve never felt more myself, more whole. I feel my brain has been rewired, my heart is opened, and my energy returned to my body. Even my innards feel stalwart! I have so much more to convey, I could go on forever about the luminous icaros, the impeccable drumming and the intensely nourishing, soul-expanding nature of coming together as a people bent on direct revelation, but I’ll leave it at this – if you’re trying to make a decision to sit with the OYA or if you’ve been looking for some kind of permission or confirmation: just go. You can choose to take this as your sign from the universe. What we are seeking is also seeking us.

  • Adding another review because I’m terrible with technology and I didn’t get to rate overall rating. Five stars for EVERYTHING!!!! Phillip and every other facilitator I have met, you guys are truly AMAZING and I’m so happy I have found the medicine and connected you! Cheers to future ceremonies!!!

  • I first came to ayahuasca at Yage’ AZ where the people were so nice and connected me with Phillip because he and I both live in Oregon. Since then I have sat in several ceremonies with Phillip here in Oregon. Each experience brings me closer to healing and finding my true self. I have felt safe, loved, accepted and supported from each person in the ceremony and that feeling just amplifies the healing process even further. Phillip and the other facilitators that he brings to the ceremonies are so talented with the Icaros and the beautiful songs resonate deep inside me even after the ceremonies. I highly recommend the Oregon Yagé’ Assembly, although it’s small now I have no doubt more and more people will be finding the beauty and healing power of ayahuasca and this church will grow very quickly. It’s a wonderful feeling to be at the start of it all and see the magic of how nature can bring people from all walks of life together. Blessings to all and I hope you find the healing that you seek.
