I had a two night private ceremony 4/12/25. The brew is more on the mellow side. Great for first-timers. But it works! I felt physically and mentally healthy and “reset’ afterwards. I didn’t go to a deep healing space, but have talked to others who have with this brew. The ceremony setting is in a smaller sized room, has amazing decor (tapestrys, incense, running water, music, light patterns on the ceiling) overall feels warm and mystical. Overall Shawna is a great faciliator. She will have a cornucopia of dieta friendly food waiting for you when you emerge from ceremony. As well as great conversation, and the opportunity to talk about and process what came up for you during ceremony.
Wonderful small group ceremony with two friends. Shawna has a strong connection with the medicine and is also assisted by a doctor on site. The ratio of facilitators to volunteers was 1:1, yet price for what was essentially a private ceremony was significantly less than larger ceremonies I’ve participated in. Strongly recommend to individuals looking to work with aya, but who may be turned off by large group settings or require a higher level of personalized attention to feel safe enough to be vulnerable/surrender.
