Last year I was fortunate to attend a sacred Huni Kuin ceremony with Grizz, right here in Kentucky. It was my first such ceremony, and I am deeply grateful for Grizz’s invaluable support. His guidance extended beyond the spiritual realm; he explained the dietary suggestions, things to avoid leading up to the event such as social media, certain tv/music and answered questions regarding some the supplements I take. Grizz was very patient and knowledgeable. All to ensure I was ready for the experience and understood the process leading up to the ceremony was just as important!
The ceremony itself was profoundly moving. The diverse group of participants, a mix of seasoned veterans and first-timers like myself, were united by a palpable sense of love, compassion, and shared vulnerability. The atmosphere fostered a deep sense of connection and trust. The Huni Kuin leaders shared rich traditions throughout the ceremony, creating an experience that transcended words. From the preparatory rituals to the concluding practices, every moment felt steeped in magic.

I had only been to one other ceremony before, and it was extremely well done.
I was a little uneasy going in with new people and a new type of experience.
But it exceeded our expectations dramatically. Everything was very well orchestrated, everyone’s privacy was respected, and we had the most wonderful experience. My wife came for her first ceremony, and was very well taken care of. Anytime she felt even slightly uncomfortable, the helpers were very intuitive and came right over without asking.
We left with some excellent insight and inspiration to carry forward. ❤️
I had the opportunity to play some music of my own, and collaborate with other musicians which I’ve who never done before.
Great people, made lots of new friends.

In late 2020, I traveled from the D.C. area to Kentucky to participate in my first group spiritual ceremony, led by Grizz. Though we hadn’t met in person prior, I was introduced to him through another trusted ceremony leader, and from the start, Grizz orchestrated everything with care, precision, and genuine heart.
He made sure I was fully supported, even connecting me with another community member so we could travel to the ceremony site together. That level of thoughtfulness set the tone for the entire experience.
The ceremony itself was exactly what I needed at that point in my journey. Even though we were still navigating the complexities of the COVID era, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace and alignment. There was no fear—only clarity that this was the next natural step for me. The gathering felt like a protected, sacred bubble amidst the uncertainty of the world.
We came together as a community—sharing space, stories, meals, and deep spiritual presence. It was powerful, intimate, and beautifully healing. The experience opened internal doors I didn’t even know needed opening, and it helped me shift my perspective in ways I still carry with me today.
Meeting Grizz and participating in that ceremony marked a pivotal moment in my life. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity, and I continue to stay in touch with him and this incredible community. I would absolutely do it again and wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone feeling called.
I started my spiritual journey back in 2021. At which time I put myself in counseling because I really didn’t understand at the time what was happening to me. As I learned more about the spiritual world and the healing of plant medicine, I knew deep down that the plant medicine was going to be a huge part of my healing journey. A good friend of mine introduced me to Grizz and he invited me to join in one of his ceremonies in 2023. I went by myself, not knowing anyone. I will tell you that I was a little nervous at first but once I arrived, I immediately felt my nervousness disappear. Everyone welcomed me with open arms, and I knew this is where I belonged. The first night I was so excited to see everything, and I have to say, it was the most beautiful experience. The second night is when my journey with plant medicine began. I knew I was safe, I knew if I needed anything Grizz was there to help me along my way, there was zero judgement, and the abundance of love throughout the ceremony. I have been to 4 ceremonies since my first one and the experience is just as amazing or even better than the first. I walk away from each ceremony filling lighter with a clearer understanding of my healing. Plant medicine has opened me up to healing my trauma, helping me be more aware of myself and surroundings, taught me compassion, self-love, and understanding that we are all connected to everything here on mother earth, with spirit, and with God. I am very grateful for my new family, I know that each time I go, that I am walking into a place of love and acceptance and Natureza Church of Nature is there for me!

In my opinion, It’s about rapid, serious, deep, healing. I believe the Creator put something on this planet that can cure/heal every ailment we can get or even create.
I believe “Plant medicine” is one of the Creator’s tools for real, genuine, authentic, healing on all levels, physical, emotional, and spiritual, or that’s been my experience anyway.
I also believe it’s extremely, extremely important who is leading the ceremony. Grizz and his team/family are trustworthy people. They are dedicated, experienced, knowledgeable, and compassionate.
I’m in my mid-60s, with no previous experience with anything like this ever before.
I did a lot of reading before attending my first ceremony.
Without a doubt, it is one of the most difficult things that I’ve ever experienced.
But, one of the most powerful, transforming & meaningful experiences that I’ve ever had.

Grizz came into our home and provided a ceremony that opened the floodgates to deep, buried wounds – wounds that had been holding Eddie and me back in our relationship. He held space with complete non-judgment, allowing me to bring forth the beast that had been hidden in the shadows. Over the course of days, he witnessed the full force of my rage, pain, and grief as I hurled and projected everything that had been trapped inside me. He didn’t flinch, didn’t try to fix or suppress – he simply held space, unwavering, as it all came to the surface.
Not only did he hold space for me, but he also supported Eddie through it all, offering steadiness and understanding as we both faced the raw truth of our inner child wounds.
