We offer safe and traditional Kambo Ceremonies in Austin Texas!

There are many Kambo practitioners, which is a good thing! But not all are equal in maximizing the healing benefits of Kambo. Most Kambo practitioners do not follow traditional practices which directly affects the full power of Kambo.

Safety is #1 Priority: Kambo is a powerful medicine and it is extremely important to review proper medical history. Sadly, not all Kambo practitioners do this. I advise clients to be off all psych medications prior to our Kambo ceremony. Interactions could be life threatening, please contact me for more information.

Authentic Kambo Medicine: Our Kambo sticks that medicine comes on, comes from a private reserve in Peru. This allows us to make sure they are not mixed with egg whites. There is a lot of fake/impure Kambo being sold on the internet that can be harmful for the body.

Traditional Methods: We use traditional authentic methods learned from the Matsés tribe. We use the client’s saliva instead of water to moisten the medicine. This makes the medicine more potent. Water dilutes the medicine. The medicine learns your personal DNA through the saliva.

Tamishi Vines: We use the tamishi vine instead of incense for the burns which is directly connected to the Kambo frog’s habitat as they sit on the vine itself. This calls in the energetic spirit of the medicine more.

Sustainability: Our Kambo frogs are not harvested for 2-3 months after first collection to maintain sustainability and harmony with the frogs.

No Inflated Purging: Chugging water right before ceremony creates an false/inflated purge that is not as powerful or authentic. We do not have clients do this. Instead, we ask clients to fast 10-12 hours before and drink lots of water leading up to the ceremony. A barfing purge isn’t always necessary during ceremony as a sign of healing.

Medicine Placement: The Matsés traditionally put the medicine on ankles, arms or chest. All other placements such as “chakra” placements are not necessary and not tradition.

The fundamental concept of following tradition is to maximize the healing benefits of Kambo, respect the spirit of the Kambo medicine and the elders that have refined this practice over thousands of years.
