About Us
Taita Pedro is an ancestral indigenous medicine doctor with more than twenty-five years’ experience. He arrived in the United States in 2016 to help spread the teachings of the native people of South America. His work creates awareness by sharing the ancestral knowledge, respect, and appropriate use of the sacred plants as is traditional in many other countries.
Taita Pedro’s journey here in the States has brought many people through the process of healing to find the power within to overcome a variety of ailments and dis-eases such as: anxiety, addiction, PTSD, suicidal thoughts, childhood trauma, etc. People from all walks of life find their path of healing transformed by the work of Taita Pedro. His work through Yagé focuses on healing our whole self—our spirit, mind, and heart. In the indigenous language, this is called “Juabn.” Juabn allows a special state of consciousness to surface which integrates our spirit, mind, and heart, and therefore allows healing to occur in all aspects of our being.
Taita Pedro began on his path in the traditions of his Colombian ancestors, learning from the elders that served before him. The medicine he brings to share together with his Icaros (South American indigenous medicine songs) allows us to flow inside, knowing and recognizing our own strengths, to be aware of all aspects of our being, accessing new levels of freedom and peace.

I had been looking for inner peace and happiness, to heal traumas for many years in different forms (therapy, reading, breath work, meditation and other modalities) with great input and good improvement in my state of mind but I always felt a sense of emptiness that nothing I did could fill. Soon enough, I was introduced to the idea of plant medicine and ceremonial work. Somehow Taita Pedro came up in conversation with one of my coworkers and to this date I am extremely grateful for the work we have achieved. As I continue to integrate my lessons, I thank God every day to have put Taita Pedro and all the wonderful people that facilitated during ceremony for us. The experiences are very special, engaging, and safe every time I join for ceremony.
Thank you Taita for the guidance you have provided in helping me believe in myself again- in a way people can tell you how much beauty your spirit radiates but until you experience it yourself, you wont be able to believe it and embody it and that is something I finally was able to experience. I attended yage ceremonies with Taita twice, the first a larger group in California and the second a smaller group in Pennsylvania. It was a transformative experience.
I highly recommend Taita as he is attentive and is willing to listen to participants and their concerns. He and the facilitators were ever watchful on us while giving us the space to process the medicine, and our subconscious thoughts and emotions. I plan to attend more innthe future after further work on myself.
I recommend intention setting and integration (and abstaining from prohibited foods) to make the most of your experience.
Also, do inquire abt acommodation, bathroom, showers, meals so that you know what to expect – it is not going to be a 4-star resort ..LOL.

Hard to find the words that will describe how much meeting and and sitting with taita Pedro has done for me.
My first time was in Homestead, FL back in June 2022.
I’ve gone back several times in the last 2 years.
Even though it wasn’t a one time blast off into space and come back all fixed like I’d hoped 🫣 haha 🤣
It was the most transformational and magical experience of my life.

My two ceremonies with Taita Pedro were in Pennsylvania, he is a kindle and friendly soul. My first experience was smooth and gentle, the 2nd time was even more powerful. If you are being called to the medicine highly recommend Taita Pedro and his team.
My first time I sat with the medicine was with Taita Pedro in Homosassa, Florida. My experience was profound and far exceeded my expectations. I felt safe, seen, & heard. After retiring from the military this was exactly what I needed. Even if I didn’t know it at the time. If any Vets or normal folks are on the fence, don’t be. Taita Pedro’s space is phenomenal, and indeed the perfect setting if you feel called to sit with him, and his medicine. Trust was built, and perspective was attained. I’m grateful that I was welcomed and taken care of by him and Pachamama Munai.
This was my first time with the medicine and I was a little anxious about being vulnerable with strangers. There was absolutely no reason to be, I felt safe and supported the whole weekend. Taita Pedro takes his position as a shaman seriously but he is also very personable and approcahable. I would highly recommend adding this to your list of healing opportunities.

I’ve had my ceremonies with different Taitas in south america and some ayahuasqueros here in states and Taita Pedro is the best. From organizing everything to guiding everyone in the ceremony space, also his amazing crew, I don’t know how could one do it any better. Highly recommend!

The 3 day ceremony was beautiful and profound. I felt safe throughout the journey, and Taita and the servers always knew what was going on and were there to help. The location was beautiful, the food and live medicine music were excellent, everyone was friendly and kind. Would highly recommend this retreat whether it’s your first time with plant medicine or more experienced.
