Wow I have been to many ceremonies around the US and Mark is a true master in his craft. He explains details of the medicine before we start ceremony that no one has ever explained to me. The space was so peaceful so much love the visions an messages were very clear. I feel very fortunate to have been able to sit with mark and experience his energy, his icaros were beautifully channeled from the plants guiding me to different dimensions. I experienced in the past people are serving medicine who shouldn’t be serving and it put fear in me everytime I would go sit with the medicine. The way mark maneuvered the space make me experience such a different side of the medicine. He is so humble so kind so respectful of everyone and the medicine you can tell he takes ayahuasca very serious. If your looking for someone to sit with go to mark. I was called to Ayahuasca many years ago but couldn’t find a way to travel abroad. Luckily, I discovered Mark’s retreat in North Texas. If you’re here, you probably understand the power of divine timing. I didn’t know much about what to expect, but I felt like I was in good hands even before meeting him in person. In the weeks leading up to the retreat, he communicated with and supported me via phone/text about the necessary preparation, including tapering off SSRIs and abstaining from red meat, pork, caffeine, and sex for a week prior.
Mark and his wife have powerful spirits and created a sacred space for the emotional/physical/spiritual work that arose out of the attendees. His chants were profound, triggering a stirring in my crown chakra. Even as a first-timer, I realize that Mark is an unusually gifted healer. Besides his talent and skill, he has such a pleasant personality. I can sense the balance he holds between divine masculine and feminine. What I appreciate is that Mark moves with levity and gravitas, not taking himself too seriously while approaching his work with utmost seriousness. His intentions are pure: to guide us on our awakening journey. One of the biggest indicators that he is here to benefit the collective is the nominal fee he charges. It’s clear he’s not in it for profit.
As far as my individual experience, understanding that experiences can vary greatly, I didn’t feel or see much in the first two nights. He recommends that the ceremonies be conducted in sets of three. I almost didn’t return on Sunday due to upcoming commitments, but I am glad I did. That night, I experienced the most unexpectedly vivid, clear, and profound visions of my life, including a partial kundalini awakening, which was a huge surprise. The collective energy of the dozen attendees was powerful, creating a sense of alchemy. As we tapped into the energy of the icaros and the sacred portal that Ayahuasca opened, I felt connected to the Divine in a way that I never had before. It moved me to tears of joy, relief, and awe.
The post-ceremony integration was thoughtfully handled, with Mark facilitating discussions that allowed everyone to process their journey. Even after returning to our daily routines, I feel privileged to call them my soul family. Our integration continues as we share the shifts that have persisted long after the ceremonies.

Last weekend, I attended a beautiful 3-day ayahuasca retreat with Mark. At the beginning of the ceremony, he briefly shared the process, the indigenous origins, the power, and the potential of the journey we were about to embark on. He also explained the pitfalls of ego and how to surrender in order to avoid those pitfalls, so that we would have the most transformative healing experience.
The retreat I attended consisted of three ceremonies, each one offering insights and teachings of such beauty and immensity that I still feel surrounded by love and light. During the first ceremony, when my subconscious was resisting the medicine, Mark’s timely intervention helped me to get rid of the blockages, and I could hear the call of Ayahuasca instantaneously.
Mark is knowledgeable in the ways of the indigenous practices and plant wisdom. The icaros he sang and the songs he played were an integral part of the Ayahuasca journey. The songs and the safe, sacred space he created deepened the experience. I felt protected throughout my journey in the presence of Mark and my fellow participants. Mark makes sure that the group is small so that everyone is well taken care of. His family made sure that I felt welcomed in their home. It was truly an honor to attend the Ayahuasca ceremony under Mark’s guidance.

Going into it I was very nervous and didn’t know what to expect; other than what was told to me by others I know that have done ayahuasca. With Marks guidance I was able to learn a lot about the medicine and once in the medicine I was able to learn more about myself. Before the ceremony he gives you a review of what to expect and how to surrender to the medicine and relax. He answers all questions you have leading up to ceremony, while you are there and afterwards. Once ceremony has concluded he does a full integration process with the group, where everyone explains what they experienced one by one and he breaks down each experiences so everyone will have a better understanding of their experience. I have always been skeptical about religion,spirituality,mysticism,God. My 1st night was so profound I thought I had met God. So that set my mind down the path of spirituality and seeking more answers. Each time I did the medicine I realized more and more about Love and what we are an what true love is. Mark helped me understand messages that i wasn’t comprehending in that moment. I always tried to put a face on God or what it is or how can he allow bad things in the world. I have done ayahuasca a handful of times all over the US these ceremonies are so so much different. The clarity the healing was night an day other ceremonies I have attended I was left confused with no direction from the medicine. These ceremonies showed me a clear path direct answers it showed me things about my self I never saw in my last ceremonies I did 3 days in a row with Mark and each one was more lessons more healing so much love so much light. What i noticed different about Mark was the way he handles energies and cleans the space you can tell he knows what he’s doing. These were my first Ayahuasca ceremonies, coming off the heels of over a year spent with just over a dozen Bufo ceremonies. I was guided to Mark by Spirit, no question. I knew that I needed the powerful, loving feminine energy of Grandmother Aya. I had three incredibly stunning ceremonies with a True Master of Ceremonies, Mark. Each was different and so incredibly powerful, filled with Light and Love. In the first ceremony, Grandmother introduced herself to me all night with nothing but the pure LIGHT of her LOVE. UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! Stunning!
The second ceremony was serious Loving lessons from the Grandmother. forcing me to confront my own behavior that had hurt my loved ones over the years and it was painful, but beautiful. After confronting my own blackness, She allowed me to enter a realm where I could do battle with my ancestral pain and the ancestral pain of my family. And I chose to go there and remove that pain myself. She actually gave me that choice. After accepting and removing the last of my family’s ancestral pain, the ancestral pain of my mother’s, Grandmother allowed me to slip into a realm of a beautiful fire surrounded by the most beautiful ring of white light where my ancestors were waiting for me…….. and the feeling of them waiting for me to arrive, welcoming me in and accepting my presence has left me reeling in the best way possible. Mark was right there the entire time and protecting me only the way a Master can, realizing where I was and what was going on. I came back into the most beautiful realm of PEACEFULNESS and LOVE. ABSOLUTELY Mind / heart / Life-altering experiences. Mark’s Icaros are so very powerful and filled with PURE LOVING INTENTION He guided me back into safe and beautiful realms that completely defy our normal language.
In Our 3rd ceremony, I was BLESSED to meet my Sprit guide for the first time in my life. He danced around me the entire time with complete joy, explaining how proud he was of me for battling my ancestral pain and confronting my own personal blackness head-on. After that, AYA wrapped me in her arms of LOVE and LIGHT for the remainder of the journey. I am still stunned and have permanent feelings and visions burned into my psyche from those three nights. ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS and almost BEYOND BELIEF!!!!! I spent the days after calling my love ones and telling them how much I love them, and how important they are to me in my life. Like most people, I had a little hesitancy about going through my first Ayahuasca ceremony. However, the person who referred me couldn’t say enough good things about Mark. Now I get to say the same thing to other people about Mark. In fact, I have put together a group for a ceremony in a week. Mark creates an environment which reduces any anxiety. He is very Intune and alert to the people participating. Lastly, words don’t do a good enough job of describing his ceremonies. He is a genius in how he orchestrate his chants, music and guiding positive energy. He truly cares about each persons journey.

Before the ceremony he gives you a review of what to expect how to surrender to the medicine and relax. He explains how he will open ceremony as well as all the tools he will be using during ceremony. After ceremony he does a full integration process in a group circle, where everyone explains what they experienced one by one and he breaks down each experiences message to a better understanding for each person. After ceremony he stays in contact with each person to see how the integration process is going.

What an amazing experience. I’d been wanting to try ayahuasca for a while and one day Mark shows up in my life. Side note- Mark is a Jiu jitsu black belt so he’s sort of a healer and killer at the same time!! What an amazing experience he provides. The medicine can be very intense and you need a trustworthy guide to help you through the process. Mark is that guide and I know he’s on a path to help as many people as possible. I highly recommend him.
These ceremonies have completely changed my life. Who I used to be and who I am now is night and day. I have mother Aya to thank for this. These shamans now the way of the light they are here to help you with whatever you’re struggling with. I was an alcoholic for years that spirit had a death grip on me and they broke those chains. I am a free man. What they do is nothing less than magical. I have a sense of purpose now in life something no one can take from me. I love this medicine and the men who serve it. I’ve traveled to do to plant ceremonies with 3 different Shaman, I’ve done a total of 7 , Mark’s ceremonies were by far the best, not just because how my personal ceremony went, you could just feel the peace and love, I could tell he prepares himself and the atmosphere before the ceremony. I will definitely be back to do more ceremonies with him!
I felt very safe and comfortable by the guide! Very eye opening and life changing. I know I need it again and I will go to him again. It has helped me more than a therapy session I have done.
