This “church” offered so much hope for growth and healing, but ended up causing me more trauma. A friend recommended that I go to ceremony here and another participant ended up violating physical boundaries with me. When Gervais and Kathy (who responds to several posts on here to apologize for the church’s shoddy behavior), had me and the other person hold hands and minimized the boundary violation that I experienced. It was super disturbing and now I am going to do a better job at vetting my next psychedelic retreat. They also have this weird Scientology vibe where they want you to volunteer for different boards and activities. Nobody shows up or follows through with the volunteer work. This place seems to be ran by two old ladies who do not have any stable relationships so they started a psychedelic church as a rouse to make friends.
