My experience with Healing House was completely positive. Kim and Rich are consummate professionals dedicated to bringing plant medicine to the world, not for personal gain but for the benefit of mankind. They are well-organized, well-staffed, and educated in the art of facilitation. The staff-to-participant ratio was at least one to one, and I felt secure and safe. I knew my well-being was the most important thing the entire time I was there. No cultish guru vibes here, just humble and relatable people who found healing and want to share it. The accommodations were beautiful, the music was sublime, and the meals (that Kim cooked) were fabulous. Oh, did I mention the medicine? The revelation and beauty I and my husband experienced healed a rift in our marriage that formed after tragedy and multiple stressors had taken their toll, and marriage counseling wasn’t helping whatsoever. I experienced healing for deep and painful childhood traumas that I thought would never be resolved. I feel lighter, like a huge weight has been lifted from my soul. I am more patient and validating to my precious child. My husband and I are enjoying a deeper emotional intimacy and understanding, and life just seems more hopeful in general. The integration afterward doesn’t end after a couple sessions. Once you have become a part of the family at Healing House, you are invited to participate in integration for as long as you like in their weekly meetings. It is so good to know I will see the lovely faces of my fellow participants for a long time to come. Rich and Kim are a rare treasure in an industry that is still finding its way on a rocky road. I am so grateful I chose them.
