I had the amazing opportunity to sit in ceremony for 2 nights over the summer with One Spirit and it was the most life changing and growth inducing weekend of my life. To start, the women leading everything are some of the most kind hearted and loving people that I have ever met. I had never sat with Ayahuasca before so I didn’t have a lot of expectations on what anything would look like coming in, but everyone there made me feel so safe and comforted during every second. My first night brought so much up that I wasn’t prepared for, but the facilitators made sure they were there to support me every step of the way an helped me fully process and understand what the medicine was trying to show me. Through the integration session the next day I felt like it was a safe space to talk about my experience and receive guidance on how to fully work with the medicine then and how to still to this day.
The grounds are so warm and welcoming and every space there holds energy that makes it feel like home. From breakfast and dinners together, to chatting in the swings before ceremony, being with nature and holding such a sacred space together made the entire experience that much better.
I am very blessed to have had my first connection with the medicine with such a safe and supportive community and look forward to continuing to sit with them in the future and strengthening my connection and relationship to Spirit. Aho.
