  • I’ve learned so much since my first ayahuasca ceremony 14 months ago. πŸ™ Sitting with this medicine is an intensely vulnerable experience. During my first ceremony in November 2023, I felt like I’d entered the Garden of Eden & eaten the forbidden fruit – my soul was completely exposed. As someone who struggled with vulnerability, especially with men, this experience was both beautiful and terrifying.

Feeling safe is essential when experiencing this level of vulnerability. The medicine server, assistants, and energetic container all play a crucial role in creating a secure space. The medicine server guides the ceremony’s energy and participants’ experiences, requiring years of apprenticeship and inner work to master.

Becoming a carrier of this powerful medicine demands self-reflection, shadow integration, humility, and accountability. This enables medicine servers to remain untriggered and hold safe spaces, regardless of what arises. Transparency and heart-centered connection are vital before, during, and after the ceremony, ensuring a safe experience even when the journey gets intense.

Ultimately, safety and compassion from the medicine server and assistants are essential for a positive experience with sacred medicines.

Sadly, my experiences with Shane the 1st night were, personally, a hard pass, a nope never again. Not a first journey with ayahuasca that I would wish…. for anyone’s daughter. If he would feel good about his daughter being handled as I was, I hold no qualms.

I wish Shane well, truly. May he experience all of the self-awareness, profound clarity & deep healing that these sacred medicines and this universe/GOD have to offer us all πŸ™πŸŒŽπŸ”₯πŸ’¨πŸŒŠπŸŒŒπŸ™
