Thank you for the well wishes. Your journey was a vulnerable one, no doubt. Sorry you did not receive the treatment you thought one should in some moments that first night. My job is to protect and hold the space for EVERYONE and keep ALL the participants safe through their journey. Most people are coming to find their own personal strength and power, and I only interject when called and necessary. I do not touch people in their journey regardless of whether that’s what they believe they need in the moment or not. I am not there to baby and coddle participants. Since your attention and energies were already so focused on me, all I could responsibly and ultimately do was sit quietly, pray, and allow the medicine to work. Touching and speaking during such a powerful process can only add confusion to an already sensitive situation. This was an all-women’s retreat and as always there was a female facilitator present. The other ladies patiently and compassionately witnessed both your process and mine, not only that night but the entire weekend. There were repeated check-ins by both me and the other participants with you all weekend in integration sessions and out. I spoke with you, as I do everyone who sits with me, on 2 separate integration calls afterwards as well. I was under the impression that we, more than thoroughly, discussed things in some very open and frank discussions. When I asked, you repeatedly voiced to me that you were in a good space and doing well. Over time, however, your repeated and incessant DMs and other communications, that did not pertain to the medicine or integration, became unhealthy. I apologize for the firm boundaries, but it was absolutely the best course of action. It was only after I chose boundaries that you changed your mind and decided that your experience was now totally different. It’s ok, you’re allowed to change your mind. I do believe that there are lessons in this for both of us and I also wish you well on your continued journey. And yes I’d be honored, in fact I’d insist, my daughter sit with someone who honors, handles, respects and serves this medicine the way I do.
Thank you for your kind words and continuing friendship. It is an honor to know and serve with and for you. Thank you for your trust and wisdom. We really are just…so f***ing powerful. Let’s keep climbing my friend.
Thank you for your trust and faith and for having me at your beautiful property. It was a divine and powerful weekend. Looking forward to returning in May. Keep up the good work up there.
Jennelle. You’re a boss! You were such a divine presence at ceremony and I pray you get all the beautiful things you deserve in life. Until next time, my friend.
