An unforgettable and truly sacred experience
I had the honor of participating in a peyote ceremony guided by Juliana Garcell and her husband Kia , and it was one of the most beautiful, heartfelt experiences of my life. From the moment we arrived on the sacred land, you could feel the deep reverence and care they put into every part of the ceremony. It was a special night June 21,2025 summer solstice which is the shortest night. Its been a long time I did a ceremony for peyote 12 years actually and I couldn’t ask for a more sacred space to do my healing. I thought it was a very powerful.
The leadership, guidance, and prayers offered throughout the night were filled with intention and love. The medicine was shared with deep respect, and the fire was tended to with such sacred care—it was powerful just to witness. They even created a meaningful bird design in the fire with cedar and later transformed it into an altar, which was absolutely breathtaking.
What stood out most to me was the purity of their intentions and the way they held space for everyone involved. This wasn’t just a ceremony—it was a healing, a remembering, and a connection to something much greater. I’m so grateful to have been a part of it.
