Agape Church for Soul Mind & Body is a non-profit church focused on liberating individuals to be confident in their life experience and spiritual practice through deep connection with the divine, mindfulness practices and self discovery. Agape Church aims to remove the labels associated with religious, political and geographical affiliation and allow people to just be themselves within a supportive, non-judgmental and like-minded community.
Agape Church applies the lessons of many spiritual guides & teachers within a ceremonial context for our congregation with an understanding that there is much to learn with an open-minded approach to all spiritual practices, wisdom and knowledge. Agape Church aims to normalize the reverent use of entheogenic sacraments, removing the stigmas associated with master plant & animal teachers in order to allow a deeper connection with our own humanity, nature, spirituality and higher self. From September 26th to September 28th, I stepped into an unbelievable retreat at Agape—a sacred space where the medicine of Ayahuasca, Kambo, and Hapé guided me through a journey I will never forget.
The process was not easy, but it was breathtakingly beautiful.
It carried me through layers of my life—from the innocence of my baby years to the echoes of my childhood—revealing memories, emotions, and truths that had been waiting to be healed. I faced my pain and embraced my soul. I learned to love myself, forgive myself, and remember that I am worthy, loved, and divine—a goddess in my own right.
Ayahuasca opened the door to my higher self, to Pachamama, to Abuelo Tabaquito, to the wisdom of the universe. Kambo (Sapo)cleansed and strengthened me, helping me release the wounds my human form has carried since childhood. Each vision, each lesson, each tear was a step toward deep spiritual healing, peace, understanding, and wisdom.
I arrived not knowing what to expect—only that the time was finally right. What I received was beyond anything I could have imagined: a powerful connection to the universe, to the animals, to life itself. I felt the undeniable truth that we are one, and that our souls are already perfect.
The people I met became my soul family—each carrying their own story, each healing in their own way. We supported one another, cried together, laughed together, and honored the sacred work. My roommate Mitzi, a practitioner nurse, and others beautiful souls from all walks of life—reminded me that this medicine calls to the heart, not the title. Sergio and Raquel, our incredible facilitators, along with Dominic, Alessandra, and Walter, held us with love, music, and guidance that made every moment feel safe and extraordinary.
Integration was powerful, the food nourishing, the music unforgettable. The entire experience was a dance of the universe—reminding me to forgive others, to forgive myself, to love deeply, to be kind, and to put my own soul first.
I won’t share all the details—they are sacred and personal—but I can say this:
This was the most incredible thing I have ever done for my spiritual healing.
It showed me exactly what I needed to see, hear, and release. It reminded me of my purpose, of the magic within, and of the infinite love that surrounds us all.
If this calls to your heart, trust the timing. You have nothing to lose and everything to remember. 🌿✨

2025 – 2 ceremonies attended
Ceremony 1 – medicine with aya. Came to support a friend (men’s retreat) and ended up with profound self discovery and finding wounds that had long been hidden. Community is amazing. Music to help connect was beautiful. Teachers and volunteers are careful to protect and allow you to connect.
Ceremony 2 – medicine with aya and last day with San Pedro(four altars). Came to support a friend again and saying I don’t have much to work on. Was even a deeper dive into my inner child and wounds. Additional bonus was the San Pedro sitting and was a different touch and gives you a chance to connect to your roots. Teachers were masterful and supportive community leaders.
Ceremonies – 5/5
Community- 5/5
Food -5/5
The inner work may be tough time to time, but lesson is keep digging and finding the root of your healing. ❤️🩹 take the leap of faith in yourself and connect to God.
Agape Church is truly one of my sacred spaces for spiritual healing. It has become a place of deep comfort for me, a sanctuary of love, connection, and family. Over the past year, I’ve been on a personal journey, and I’m incredibly grateful for the facilitators who have supported me with joy, compassion, and a sense of renewal.
The land itself is beautiful and serene, with a peaceful pond, tall trees, and a simplicity that grounds you while offering deep comfort. It’s a place where you can truly let go and just be.What sets Agape apart is the sense of trust and community. I feel completely safe bringing my loved ones and friends here. You don’t just attend a retreat, you become part of a family. And that support doesn’t end when the retreat does. The team at Agape continues to walk with you even after you leave, reminding you that you’re never alone on this journey. The connections made throughout the retreats stay with you far longer than you can imagine. We all want the same thing and it’s beautiful. 10/10 recommend for anyone who is ready to take a huge step into your Spiritual healing and learning valuable lessons about yourself.
My husband and I went for the most recent retreat. I didn’t know what to expect and I was a bit nervous because it was the first time we’ve ever done anything like this. Since the moment we walked in, we felt like family. We were openly embraced From beginning to end. I had an incredibly Profound experience that will stay with me for the rest of my life. I can only speak from my side but I was able to experience and witness connections that I never thought I would feel or see. The community was family and their kindness was unmatched. The music was so beautiful and really brought me to tears it was beautiful. We left renewed and feeling closer than ever before and able to connect on a different level. I am So extremely grateful for this experience and the love and genuine authenticity radiating from the couple leading the ceremony was something other worldly. This was a deeply sacred and magical experience and I cannot wait to go back again. THANK YOU to everyone there. 🥹💖
I’ve been able to trust wholeheartedly Ágape not only with my own spiritual awakening, but also my family’s and loved ones .
The land is beautiful, property is well kept and clean, everything about agape created a safe environment for me to completely trust the process.
I’ve been to several Yage/Ayahuasca ceremonies, each one unique in its own wonderful way.
In a world where Ayahuasca has been so commercialized and retreats converted into a getaway destination, Agape is a hidden gem bringing tradition and awareness to those seeking awakening. I cannot thank enough the facilitators and volunteers, they’ve been there through my integration of every ceremony, going from strangers to becoming family.
I cannot recommend Agape enough if you’re looking for a genuine heart guided, healing, safe US based Ayahuasca community.
I’ve attended multiple retreats at Agape Church for ayahuasca ceremonies, and each experience has been truly transformational. I’ve participated in both general groups and specialized circles for veterans and first responders, and every time I’ve been met with genuine kindness and care. The volunteers and organizers create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and deeply supportive. From the first time I attended, I felt like part of a community.
These retreats have become an essential part of my healing journey, alongside therapy and significant life changes. The work isn’t easy, but Agape has been there supporting me as I’ve done it. This place has helped me move through trauma in ways I never thought possible.
The grounds are beautiful—trees, water, and a peaceful atmosphere that immediately helps you settle. The facilities are simple but comfortable, exactly what’s needed for the work being done. Getting there is easy from Houston airports; I usually rent a car (which allows me to grab water and snacks), but rideshares work too.
I’ve recommended Agape to close friends and family. If you’re serious about your healing, I can’t recommend it enough.
Agape is a place I trust and I know that they hold these traditions in the highest honor. The process of intake and available aftercare is top notch and well thought out. The land and facilities are amazing, clean, and well kept, this not something frequently seen in the United States. Normally, you’d have to travel to South America to come across a facility and organization of this caliber.
I have had the privilege of sitting with them over the last 3 years several times with different facilitators. Each experience was carefully curated and highly organized, freeing me up to focus on the work that I need to do and not worry about anything else. They have different circles, experiences, and facilitators that can cater to very specific needs as well. Highly recommended.
I had an amazing experience here!! 100% recommend for anyone.
This community has saved my life with a lot of patience and love, I have no words to show my gratitude to them.
This place is amazing I have been going there and there is not words that can express my gratitude. I have witnessed many lives been changed and the love of its members make you feel like at home.
