The Conduit Sound

The Conduit Sound is a group of meditation musicians who have played live sound meditations in Connecticut since 2008. Several players perform together on gongs, singing bowls, bells and other instruments.

The group ran a studio, The Conduit Center, for more than ten years until it closed in 2020. It now works as a mobile practice and holds regular public sessions at partner studios and venues in West Hartford, Glastonbury, Ellington, Coventry and Manchester. It also books private events.

The group describes its sessions as live sound art for rest and reflection, with no tie to any belief system. No meditation experience is needed.
