🛡️ SafeCeremonies Review Guidelines

Welcome to SafeCeremonies. This platform exists to help individuals make informed decisions about sacred ceremony spaces by sharing honest, respectful, and firsthand experiences. To maintain safety, fairness, and integrity, all reviews must follow the guidelines below.

✅ Who Can Leave a Review

  • You must have personally attended a ceremony or event with the organization you’re reviewing.
  • Secondhand stories, hearsay, or reviews based on online research, reputation, or social media are not allowed.
  • If a review is challenged by the listing owner, you may be asked to provide documentation that reasonably confirms you attended (e.g., confirmation email, photos, receipts, etc.). If you’re unable to provide this, your review may be removed.

💬 What You Can Share

  • Your personal experience of the ceremony or event: the space, facilitators, safety, communication, preparation, and integration.
  • Constructive feedback — whether positive, neutral, or critical — is welcome.
  • Your feelings and outcomes: what worked, what didn’t, what you wish you’d known beforehand.

🚫 What’s Not Allowed

We reserve the right to edit, hide, or remove reviews that include:

  • Personal information about others (e.g., full names, private details, phone numbers, social media handles, legal history).
  • Accusations of criminal activity or abuse without a formal citation or legal resolution. This protects both parties and the platform from liability.
  • Hate speech, threats, harassment, or defamatory statements.
  • Reviews written by bots, fake accounts, or people affiliated with a competing organization.
  • Duplicate reviews across multiple listings or repeated attempts to repost removed content.

🔄 Disputes & Reporting

  • If you believe a review about your organization violates these guidelines, you may report it directly on the site or email us at [email protected].
  • If we determine a review includes inappropriate content or was not written by a firsthand participant, we may remove it or request verification from the reviewer.
  • If your review is reported, we may reach out for clarification or proof of attendance.

🕊️ Our Intention

This site is a space for open dialogue, transparency, and protection — not drama, gossip, or retaliation. The medicine path is sacred and sensitive. We ask all contributors to write with truth, care, and personal responsibility.

SafeCeremonies is a neutral platform. We do not endorse or verify any organization listed — we simply provide a place for community reflection. The platform exists to amplify real experiences, not unverified claims.
