Cosmic Valley Native America’s Church
About Us
Cosmic Valley Native America’s Church (CNAC) is a United States-based ayahuasca church that holds ceremonies using ayahuasca as its sacrament. The church states that people of any religion, gender, race or belief system are welcome as members, and that its ceremonies are intended to help participants release what is held from their roots and pursue spiritual growth and healing.
The group describes itself as shamanically trained spiritual guides and medicine providers who are ordained medicine people from North America, working with plants and herbs that they prepare into medicine themselves rather than recreating South American-style ceremonies. Ceremonies have been held indoors in Eugene, Oregon, as well as at outdoor locations roughly 90 minutes west of Eugene on the Oregon coast and in the Seattle, Washington area, with exact addresses shared only with approved members after application. Weekend ceremonies have been listed with a set donation or price, and a traditional ceremonial setting is used.
Participation is framed around membership and an application process. Many members are described as having lived experience with addiction, PTSD, depression, anxiety and childhood trauma, and the church presents its work as an opportunity for emotional release and cleansing through the spirit of ayahuasca. Video reviews from past participants are published on the church’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
