About Us
We are a non-denominational church that is founded on the guiding principles that we all have the potential to self-heal and thrive when supported with the medicine of spirituality, guidance, self-acceptance, self-compassion, self-forgiveness and awakening.
We offer Sunday services, integration, ceremonial preparation, sacred plant ceremonies and cacao concerts to help you deepen your connection with spirit on a personal level on a safe supportive space. A core belief to our church is that everyone has the potential to connect with spirituality for healing and personal growth.
We believe that we are all one with the divine consciousness of the Universe, all a piece of the whole. When we feel disconnected from creation and nature, we suffer, resisting the natural flow of things. When we remember that we are all connected, we return to a feeling of wholeness, where we can surrender and accept things as they are.
Our rituals, songs and ceremonies are syncretic, drawing inspiration from diverse global lineages and philosophies, including Hinduism and Buddhism, along with deep grounding in South American spiritual practices of singing to the spirits of the plants for protection, guidance and healing etc.
We serve a special type of Aya, called Acacia, comprised of plants from Asia, reported to have revealed ancient truths to the Rishis (seers) who gave us the rig-vedas, the fount of all Hindu and Buddhist spiritual beliefs. The experience is just as powerful as Ayahuasca, yet different in beautiful and magical ways. These plants are also sustainably grown and sourced, with no cultural conflicts as is the case with Aya.
We are Asian/female-led and we hold a powerful space for diverse people to feel safe, held and welcome in our church.
Our ceremonial retreats are conducted by experienced ordained facilitators who have done extensive training and initiations, with support from dedicated and trained “Angels”.
Our Ministers and Angels are musical channels who call forth sacred transmission of sound vibrations that guide the experience of our congregants and facilitate deep spiritual awakening, release and healing. We sing and chant in over 10 languages, which carry a powerful vibration of light.
We request a modest donation for our ceremonies, in addition to a small annual membership fee. We offer scholarships based on need and don’t turn anyone away. Donations go to the direct expenses of the church: ceremonial retreat expenses, staff salaries, food and rental and our website costs.
We offer small, intimate ceremonies (less than 12 congregants) as part of immersive spiritual retreats in natural settings that include chakra activation meditations, movement medicine practices and facilitated integration sessions with experienced guides. We offer light and compassionate support during the ceremony, including individual reiki and sound healing to enhance your individual journey of self-healing.
We offer in-depth ceremonial preparation programs and sessions for guests who feel called to sitting with our sacrament, helping you feel confident and calm about your ceremony. We offer introspective integration that involved fractal inquiry and deep reflections. We hold you in radical acceptance and compassion, rooting for you and gently guiding you at every point.
We encourage you to join our community and benefit from the connection with other like-minded, open-hearted people on the path of healing and spiritual awakening.
1 Reviews on “Sacred Waters Sanctuary”
My experience with Sacred Waters has been nothing short of life changing! Aria and Gabe carry so much wisdom and operate with a high level of integrity. I participated in an 8 week integration program (“In the flow”) that included a plant medicine ceremony and it was incredibly transformative. It helped me shed old stories/patterns and step into a more authentic expression of I am.
More than that, Sacred Waters has become like family to me. It’s a great community to be a part of. I regularly attend various events they put on (Yantra Cacao Concerts, meditation, etc). So happy i found this sanctuary!
