I came to Hummingbird for the first time a year and a half ago as a participant. The amount of love, support, and safety I felt while I was there made it one of the most profound and beautiful experiences I’ve ever had. I loved the experience (and the people) so much that I have returned multiple times to volunteer and give back both to the amazing staff and other volunteers who have become a second family to me and to the participants coming in for their own healing experiences. It’s amazing and an honor to be here helping others on their journey and continuing to learn more and grow further in my own journey. I believe that anyone who feels called to plant medicine and is ready to begin that journey is in good hands here… Hummingbird is a fantastic organization. Definitely the right choice.

I have attended ceramony with Hummingbird 5 times… and I’m not necessarily suggesting that some of the reviews on here are a little odd… but… I’ve never seen anyone be attacked by dark entities or anyone being possessed while I was there. I saw people have difficulty in their process… but again my experience was very different from the few negative reviews on here. When people struggled (myself included) I saw facilitators immediately respond, taking care of people’s needs and making sure that they were safe. It was and continues to be a safe place for me to explore within (I have brought family members and my best friend here because of how professional the staff are… and how safe I felt). I don’t normally engage in conversations around negative stuff, but I felt like in this instance it was important that I do. I am VERY sorry (truly) if the people leaving negative reviews had awful experiences. It’s awful that you felt that way… but that’s the way that YOU felt, just like my experience with this group has been beautiful and profound for me. That’s MY experience. The reason I’m being this up is because there are going to be people who are looking for a safe place to go deep into their process… and they might be nervous. They are going to read your reviews and your subjective experience… and that might make them decide not to go for something that might actually be beautiful and profound for them. THEIR experience.
