I attended two weeklong retreats so far and grateful that I was not only called to the medicine but also to this amazing group. I have reached depths that I was unable to reach with just therapy. Healed parts of me that I didn’t even know existed or needed to be addressed. This group of amazing people create a safe space for their guests before, during, and after each retreat. They each have such special gifts that blend together so well giving the ceremony space and guests exactly what they need when they need it (even when i ask for something but don’t know what I need🤣). Dale is the amazing chef that works around the clock to keep everyone feed with incredible food (the lasagna is worth the trip), great humor, and the kindest heart. Kate is as close to an angel as you can meet in human form. She beautifully leads weekly interpretation calls to help each of us as we continue healing after the retreats. Teddy, what a special man! You know you are protected and loved with him around. He’s always moving and I don’t think he even lays down to sleep. He is always doing something to make sure facilitators and guests have everything we need yet he is ALWAYS available. I don’t know how he does it. Stormie is amazing and will put herself out just to make sure we are protected in the space. I have seen a strength in her that goes beyond serving medicine. She shares her knowledge and passion about the cycles of the seasons and always has the greatest projects/crafts to honor those seasons and changes. There was only one moment of concern for me and that was the first ceremony my first retreat. In my head: I just drank an undisclosed medicine with strangers 😳. The next day I was surrounded by the same strangers that had become friends/family.
