We have relocated to the mountains above Boulder, Colorado to grow new roots and continue our offerings and service.
The offerings include:
-Weekend group Grandmother retreats

Grandmother Retreat Details:
The group retreats are held on selected weekends beginning Friday afternoon and ending Sunday afternoon. The ceremonies begin each evening as day fades into night and spirit comes out to play. The journeys are rooted in the Shipibo tradition and adorned with Shipibo icaros, Sanskrit and Eastern incantations, mantra, and other medicine songs from around the world. Song is intertwined with musical and sound healing instruments including piano, guitar, handpan, flutes, singing bowls, chimes and more. The icaros are woven rhythmic songs calling in our spirit and plant allies to help us heal and return to ourselves. The Sanskrit, mantra and incantations call in Eastern deities and wisdom to remind us of our true nature- inherently awake and basically good. All of the music, sound, and vibration are shared with the intention to communicate open states of being beneath the conceptual mind- to the core of our being.
The weekend includes:
2 grandmother ceremonies
A personal energetic cleanse or soplada with mapacho and agua florida
A circulo de palabra group discussion with our plant allies mambe and ambil
A closing integration circle with cacao
Optional Kambo session

Individual One-On-One Medicine Sessions:
Group retreats are a powerful way to engage in personal healing while connecting with our greater community. However, sometimes situations and journeys call for a more intimate and individualized container. We work with grandmother, kambo, mushrooms and toad medicine in these personalized and focused spaces. Each of these medicine allies speaks to and helps us to find our way back to the same ultimate reunion with ourselves, Mother Earth and Great Spirit, but they all have a unique way of illuminating the path.

About Misa:
Over a decade ago, Misa traveled to the Peruvian jungle and immersed herself in the ways of an indigenous shamanic tribe called the Shipibos. Through an initiatory process, she began to tune into the inherent intelligence and wisdom of the natural world. Upon returning to the States, she felt a strong calling to delve into meditation and train her mind to access the deeper non-conceptual rhythms and communications of the Earth. She took Buddhist Monastic Vows and spent many years immersed in retreat, seeking the ability to listen and open to the living world around her. Today, she continues to travel biannually to the jungle to continue her studies with the Shipibos, working with master plant allies such as Noya Rao (the Tree of Light), Blue Lotus and Mapacho. She weaves her contemplative Buddhist studies and musical background into her retreats and offerings. She believes that all the large-scale problems of this world are symptoms of a deeper root cause. War, environmental destruction, political discord and so on, are merely symptoms of a profound disconnection from ourselves, our communities and the earth. She believes that as we begin to mend these basic disconnections, we will automatically find ways to live in harmony. She has found South American shamanism, Eastern wisdom traditions, and music from the heart to be powerful allies in her dedication of service to a more harmonic world.

What to say about Misa? This is a woman who has changed my entire life trajectory through her ceremonies, so it’s hard to know where to start. I guess I can only say that if you are looking for The Real Deal, this is it. She has worked with a legitimate lineage of shamans in the Amazon and has now brought that knowledge back to share with us. She has great strength but is incredibly gentle. She is who you want guiding you when the learning gets deep or heavy. I feel really lucky to have found her and plan to continue my journey with her for many more ceremonies to come. I cannot recommend Misa highly enough. If you’ve been called but are hesitating, this is the one.
I met Misa 2 years ago at one of her weekend retreats and needless to say I was blown away. Her level of care, attention to detail and ability to create and hold a rock solid safe space for her retreats is second to none. Her connection to the plants and spirit is palpable and resonates strongly in everything she does. With unquestionable integrity she nurtures and guides her participants through a beautiful journey and holds the sacred space with reverence and calm. When I think of integrity in a medicine practitioner, I think of Misa. Misa truly walks the talk in every facet of her being. She is masterful in her craft yet also immensely compassionate and heart-centered. She has studied this path for over a decade and it shows! As someone who also has been training with plant medicine and has known many facilitators, I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that Misa is among the most aligned and dedicated practitioners out there. Searching for the right guide and the right space for a successful plant medicine experience is a big deal. I spent about 10 years of my life waiting for the right conditions to arise so I could have my first ceremony with Grandmother, and it was deeply worth the wait.
My friend and light sister, Misa, was called into my life as the opening point for this part of my healing journey, and the experience was truly life-enhancing and beautiful. Misa is deeply talented in so many ways—from the way she bakes bread and prepares cacao, to the way she sings and plays musical instruments, to the magic she infuses into the physical spaces she creates.

I know on “the path” comparison is discouraged, however the level of genuine compassion, patience, empathy and interest shown by Misa during a sit has a gentle depth and love i have not experienced in other ceremonies.
My humble opinion is western seekers need western shaman – the gap in similarity and shared understanding is too great – too many misunderstandings occur, Misa is a balanced bridge between the two worlds.

Misa is a beautiful soul and a powerful healer. I have participated in two ceremonies and they were amazing and powerful. The way that she has weaved her music is magical. After my first ceremony I understood the true definition of gratitude and love. Her attention to detail and compassion for not just the ones that she is sitting with but also the spirits that are we are getting in contact with it is above anything I’ve ever experienced. She has taught me a lot. She has helped me through some really dark times and I can’t wait to sit with her again and continue to learn truth and enlightenment.
