Plant Medicine for Recovery Retreat on Lake Atitlán, Guatemala
About Us
Join us for a transformative ayahuasca retreat on the shores of stunning Lake Atitlán, near the Mayan town of San Marcos La Laguna, Guatemala. This retreat combines two professionally-guided plant medicine ceremonies with trauma-informed yoga, meditation, breathwork, sharing circles, plant-based food, a cleansing sauna and plant bath, and immersion in nature.
Hosted by Bigger Life Adventures, ceremonies are facilitated by The Forest Path at the intimate venue Casa Floresta. Accommodations are serene and beautifully-decorated, with private docks right on the lake. Group size is limited to 14–18 souls for a deep, cohesive healing experience.
This retreat is ideal for those healing from addiction, depression, anxiety, PTSD, childhood trauma, or seeking deeper self-connection and spiritual awakening. We honor the indigenous roots of this sacred medicine and combine ancient wisdom with trauma-informed practices.
All guests must complete a pre-screening interview and commit to being substance-free throughout the retreat. SSRIs and certain medications must be discontinued prior to attendance (please consult your doctor).
